well i am looking to rebuild mine for 300+bhp and 300 torque and i have been told that its best to go for a stronger clutch, and a SMF conversion, because SMFs are stronger and dont fail as often as DMFs.
Im not going to SMF i dont think, too expensive but you never know!
With yours being diesel... i
think its easier to go SMF as they do more conversions... are the diesels 5 or 6 speed?

ok well im happy to go for a stronger clutch but what sort of clutch do you think is the right one? my car is a 6 speed by the way. was thinkng ill stick with a dmf to. i have a friend who is more than happy to fit it all for 100quid and i was looking to spend about 700 or so on the parts so im hoping i should get one for that shouldnt i? out of interest mate. how much did those wheels set you back? a set of those would go nicely on mine. cheers for the
