Why do you need to worry about how long it takes?
If it's an 05 car it should be covered by warranty so the labour costs per hour will be covered. If you need your car then can you not have a courtesy car?

I assume it's because it's slipping due to a remap ?
If that's the case, then not much point in having it done under warranty at the dealer as you'll just get another standard clutch, your options would be:
1) Drive around the problem
2) Get the remap knocked back a bit
3) Get an uprated clutch fitted by an independent

My (remapped) Ibiza FR TDI has started slipping its clutch, so I think it's time I went for the uprated Sachs clutch.

Can anyone recommend a good independent garage who do this sort of work regularly, within a reasonable distance from south-west London (Kingston/Surbiton area, or nearby)?

Or is the clutch upgrade a relatively straightforward job that any independent could do?

My TT started slipping within a week of getting it. Took it back and they replaced it no questions. Had 30k on it though.
