Flash your full beem when parked and leaving, I think your keys dont nned to be in the ignition

Btw my lights are on auto

Surely you don't have to flash your full beams every time you want your lights to stay on?

Does this mean I don't have the coming home feature on my car then? My Mum had an Edition30 and all she had to do was leave her lights on. They went off after 20 seconds I think.

Mines come on in the dark, think its a but dependant if you have auto lights or not

If you haven't try leaving the lights on and taking the key out, it it doesn't buzz then the lights should turn off by themselfs

If you have bluetooth you get the large display and the extra menus. The settings for enabling and setting time delay for coming home are in the menu. If you have VCDS you can enable leaving home too and that puts yet another menu in the system for you to play with.

What is the leaving home ones? Is that just when you unlock the doors they come on?

Do your lights come on when you unlock the car at night? if so you should have this feature

No they don't. I just have the option to turn them on in menu but they don't work. Looks like I don't have this feature.

I don't have Bluetooth either. When I bought my car there were 2 exactly the same except one had BLuetooth and the other didn't. I chose the one without as it was in better nick and Bluetooth was something I didn't use in my Ibiza Cupra. Didn't know it meant you would have the coming home feature too...

our 10 plate FR has the coming home feature. we don't have auto lights, turn lights off via usual method (i.e switch) then pull indicator stalk. lights stay on , time set via MFD. we do have the big MFD though.
selection was in the menu when we got car.

I did this and it worked for me but I still don't think this is the proper coming home feature?

I don't think Seat designed it so you blind on coming traffic by pulling on the indicator stalk when you want your coming home headlights to work?

Not slating at all, but why would you want your lights to stay on when you get out the car to go in somehwere?

From my car's User Manual I see that only the "leaving home" function needs the "AUTO" feature.

On my old pre-facelift MK2 PD170 Leon I managed to enable both CH and LH and they both worked as long as I left the lights on. I did not have auto lights on that car BTW.

I attempted to do the same on a family members pre-facelift 1.6 stylance and only the CH would work. I guess it's down to the ECU fitted.
