Comparison of the 1.4 engines.

Does anyone know of a table that compares the three different 1.4 engines.

I can't seem to find the info. anywhere in one concise place.

I am trying to source a 1.4 TSI in SE spec. for under £15k

Yesterday I had a test drive in a 1.4 but it was in FR spec. and was the 150bhp variant.

I see the new SE models have a 1.4 with 125bhp and the ones I'm looking at have 140bhp...

1.4s from 2013 - Juneish 2014 were 140bhp
From June 14 onwards, The 1.4 in the FR is 150bhp, the 1.4 in the SE is 125bhp

From memory the newer ones have slightly different emissions EU6 I think.

The 140bhp engine is great and only £30 per year tax.

The 140bhp engine is the same as in the current Octavia and was mighty impressive when we test drove one. We've ended up ordering a Leon ST FR with the ACT engine though, but wont get it until December.

Not sure about the Leon but in the Octavia the emissions (121g/km) put it just into the ~£110 tax band.

Crazy how a bigger engine dumps more... they must have had it running in two cylinder mode.
