Have you downloaded the latest software update? My company has recently taken delivery of 7 Borns and all needed a software update before the app would function. If you head into the settings menu there's an option somewhere down the bottom (might be in something like System Information) to update your software. The update takes about 5 minutes if you have a decent 4G signal. After that you should be able to use the app.
