I'm getting the following engine warning:

xIBrz4.jpg

- stop check coolant service manual

I was hoping it to be something very simple like low coolant (antifreeze) level, but on checking it's full. In fact I'd say it was too full, well over the max; I didn't do that, the garage must've done that back in the summer.

The car seems to drive ok, but I've hardly driven it since this warning has appeared.

Also, there's little to no heat coming out from the system. I noticed that issue a day before the error was displayed.

A little history: 2 weeks ago the car brought up an error about Emissions and went into limp mode. The garage checked the code and something about the EGR came up. The garage said that as I do a lot of town miles combined with using standard/cheap diesel then maybe the EGR is carboned-up. They reset it and and said to fill up with BP Ultimate next time. It's driven fine since the reset and I did fill-up with BP Ultimate the night before this current coolant warning message has now surfaced. Not sure if this has anything to do with the current issue, although seems more than a coincidence to me.

Any ideas?

Hi

What you are noticing is the fluid level which is a coolant mixed with water, which the sensors have detected is a low concentration. To combat this drain some fluid out and replace it with just coolant.
