Crap radio signal

Hi guys,

I've got a mk2 face lift leon fr and the radio reception is crap!
I've had a search and it leads to possible water in the base.

If the base is full of water, how do I remove it?
I take it the amplifier is built into the base too.

hi ya , that may be the wrong connection on the aerial , to get the old one out , drop the headling down & there is a nut 17 mm i think that undoes ,

better but tbh i use dab now , so if it was going to stick to Fm i would but a proper whipy one on
