Since owning my Cupra 280 it has always had a lumpy idle. The revs don't hunt or anything but when you are sitting at traffic lights in neutral you can feel a slight lumpiness when idle. Maybe this is normal as my VR6 corrado is quiet lumpy but this is a 20 year old car.

Anyone else feel this

Yes I get this but only when the engine is cold after startup, get this slight juddering, revving it usually sorts it out. Done 9.5k miles.

Have 17.000 on the clock after 10 months but idle has been always as steady as a rock, cold, warm doesn't matter.

Mines been in today at seat main dealer. Master tech noticed that there definitely was a bit of lumpiness at idle. We fired up a 15 reg cupra 280 estate and that idled a bit better than mine but still had a bit of lumpiness. Ecu software update was available so got that done and idles better.

Idle on mine is very smooth. Cold or warm. 8 months old, c8000 miles on the clock.

Had a Clio 182 and an R26 megane before so i know what a rough idle feels like too!!

Feels a bit better but main dealer said it could be due to the engine mounts being stiff which then transfers to the cabin
