Cupra 280 idle

Mine was booked in today to have it looked at and technician confirmed slight misfire now and then so got asked to leave it with them for a few days so they can get to bottom of it. The technician thinks it could be one of the injectors but will do more checks to confirm.
If anyones having same problem get it booked in with the stealers!!!

Smooth in mine, and it's at 20,000 miles!

They managed to find a misfire on cylinder 2 on mine, he swapped spark plugs misfire was still there so then he swapped injectors and misfire disapeared so got told to monitor it and bring it back when it misfires again

Misfire has come back so got it booked in again!!!

I'm going to take mine to another dealership as just because nothing came on there computer they said all ok

I noticed an improvement today when I put in BP ultimate 97 RON but performance is not as good

I've always used v power on mine, only had it 3 months but was ok when i got it so has to be something to do with the injectors etc

Mine has starting hunting when i pull up. The revs start to rise up to 1500 and then drop as it engages neutral.

Anyone else had this?

Yeah I have this sometimes.

Also in the morning when I come to a junction and the DSG box is changing to 1st the revs will go really low and then it sort of kicks back into life... sounds like it will stall

The thing is I can't remember it always doing it. But now i really notice it and it's so annoying!

Have you tried turning the A/C off?

The last petrol I drove was over 10 years ago but when the A/C was working hard it would pull the idle down enough for me to notice it.

Yes I get this but only when the engine is cold after startup, get this slight juddering, revving it usually sorts it out. Done 9.5k miles.
