Cupra 300 remapped?

Hey guys I’m brand new here and just got myself a 3 door Leon cupra 300 dsg. It’s a 67 plate and I couldn’t be happier. Only thing is I think it’s been remapped but I’ve no way to tell I don’t think.... I’ve run it with a friends m140i that’s got a jb plus... good for 400hp or more and it’s level pegging at full chat. Plus it’s seems to limit torque until 3rd then gives a real kick. I’ve driven 300hp cars before and this feels very ‘healthy’ more like and a45 in terms of 4 cylinder pace. But any ideas on how I check without a rolling road?? Cheers

Looking good. For actual power output you need a rolling road. But you could invest in a dragy gps for not too much money and do some runs and compare with the leaderboard and it'll give you a good idea. I would guess most stage 1 Cupras will be around 360-375 hp. A tuned 3 door with DSG is seriously quick once rolling.

Hello, welcome to the forum. Nothing like a Cupra and a 3 door 300 DSG, NICE .
I've got a 5 door 290 running stage 2. As Zer0 said only way for sure would be with a rolling road or getting a mapper to take the map off and compare it with stock.
Where abouts are you located.
For future posts you should blank out your number plate.

Car looks modified (Golf R wheels) so I reckon its got a map on it. Nothing in the paperwork etc?

Personally I would try to find out who's map it is, if it was REVO/APR etc I'd be happy but if it was bobs mobile remapping first thing I'd do is put the stock file back on.
