Cupra interior, where to look?

Just a quick one to see if anyone can point me in any other directions other than what i'm trying....

Currently looking on ebay now and again as well as the for sale section on here and a few car breaker websites (places local to me here in N.I)

Any other places you could suggest?

FR550 interior would be ideal but I know they aren't going to crop up every day if at all...

Volkswagen Racing in MK had a Cupra Interior and Cupra Brembo Brake set up for sale a while ago

They stripped it from the Leon that now runs in the VW Cup but as far as im aware both sold


I looked at the seats but didnt want the word Cupra on them

Yeah that's why the FR550 one's would be better but i'd get a re-trim to take the cupra off them. Really fancy a set but they are prob like a grand each new

there was a set of cupra interior on ebay few weeks ago. They wanted £850 for lot. Company was called germanspares or something like that.

Saw that, they aren't FR seats though so I wonder were they even really Cupra ones they had

I think they are very early FR seats IIRC the original FR had really awful seats

they defo were from cupra You can clearly see difference. Didn't know the other ones weren't from FR. My interior is standard crap ;/ Will look to get cobra misano with carbon back but need to spend money elsewhere.

Nah they are the refrence sport seats , i had them in my 1.6 , Although they looked alot nicer than them!

Bingo! Although im not familiar with the spec of early FR's so Andrew may well be correct in what he says too...

If i were to go down the aftermarket buckets route id spend thousands to get a seat I liked. The cupra one's are a great shape and second hand ones would be a lot cheaper than any i would like off the shelf that are new...

Plus i dont want to take away from the OEM look... I have a mini with buckets and all the racing gear for that.

Anyone know if a MK6 Golf R interior would "plug & play" with a MK2 leon FR?

and also has anyone seen the interior of them first hand? looked at a few pics of the items for sale there but there not the best to get a good idea from.

they are suede and velour and seem to be mainly black with some white which I think would compliment my car nicely...

Any thoughts or opinions?

I've seen few Golfs with RS4 bucket seats in, they look sweet but very expensive and rare. Also thought you may want to see this, there's a guy on german ebay (may be company) that sales this:

I don't understand german so not sure if price includes seats or it's just for retrim and carbon.

Thats what I was thinking bar the head rest. If I were you I'd wait it out for a set of cupra or fr550 seats.

I know they are pretty much the same but im just going on what's available to me at the minute... Definitely think cupra ones are still the way to go... just got drawn in to the golf R's as they have a wee bit of white which would go well with my car

Those brown and carbon things are hideous!
