Very lucky to have picked up a Cupra R ABT last week. Absolutely in love with it, had a Golf R for years and it’s so much sharper despite the estate booty. Quick question, she’s got a turbo technics turbo inlet fitted atm. Is that stock for the R? Don’t remember seeing it on any VAG group cars I’ve had.

Wow, that is a stunning car!! 😍
As for your question, I don't believe it was equipped with that inlet pipe from the factory, autocar has a review of the ABT edition and it has the standard style pipe of the normal Cupra, Golf R etc.

If its got and upgraded inlet pipe it may also be remapped aswell as the abt module..

Yeah I suspect the old owner put an aftermarket intake and did the turbo inlet at the same time. Then just left the inlet and stuck the stock air box back on for sale. The ABT box is also not fitted correctly, so wondered if that had come off at some point or the dealer just botched putting it in the first place.

Runs good though, feels like it’s running at the 350 bhp mark and the mpg is about right for that too. Also getting zero codes on plugging in an obd.
