Hi I'm looking at replacing the standard exhaust on my mk2 cupra r.
What would other owners recommend getting fitted? Looking at cat back with a subtle tone not a droning noise.
Thanks:D

I've been in cars with both Milltek and BCS and I'd go BCS every time.
Infact I just ordered a BCS yesterday for my 2010 Cupra R :)

The pipes are cut at an angle to keep in tune the shape of the diffuser etc rather than just sticking out and there is no drone.

There is a BCS Cat back in the for sale section for £380 I think ;)

Thanks for your help. Just looked at the piper cat back system with one silencer. Do you know how these sound?

That Piper with one silencer is the cheapest system out there but they are very loud.... even more so if you eventually go for a sports cat or decat down pipe. (Piper also wont sell individual parts such as a second silencer)
They also look pretty rough in my honest opinion. (2 bean cans welded on the end of the pipes) LOL

I guess it will come down to personal taste on the looks and how loud you want it.

BCS will probably do you a deal for a similar cost. Speak to Nige but he can normally do 10% off for forum members, so their sports cat back comes in at around £440 ;)
Much nicer finish and look, better sound, less drone etc.

Just edit to add - Fire a PM to Herbie147 on here. He tried the Piper but sold it and bought the BCS so would be a very good guy to give a comparison.
Stays just round the corner from me........ And I thought these cars were rare...... I also park next to one at my works car park.

Hi I have a cupra mk2 with standard exhaust , I was thinking on getting the cupra R diffuser and BCS cat back system. Can anyone tell me if the diffuser is simply enough to take out and the cupra R put in to replace it.
Cheers for any help.
