Hi all !

I am the owner of a Seat Leon Cupra ST 300 4Drive without Brembo pack.

Based on Seat techincal datas, alloy wheels and tyres compatibles are :

225/45R17 91W; 7x17 ET49, 7.5x17 ET51
225/40R18 92Y; 7.5x18 ET51
235/35R19 91Y; 8x19 ET50

I am interested in Cupra ST R wheels which are 235/35R19 91Y; 8x19 ET45.
Will it fit ?

Does anyone had put Cupra ST R allow wheels on Cupra ST ?

Thanks for your help !
Stéphane

Simple answer is yes they will fit.

However Damo H is the guru on these wheels. Hopefully he’ll be able to confirm and explain.

Yeah fit no problem, the R ST has revised suspension geometry with -2.0° front and rear (think standard is closer to -1.0° all round, but you have more than enough room to play with on the standard geometry (Not that you can change the front without changing parts).

On standard suspension a lot of people run spacers 12mm and 15mm with no issues. Effectively giving an offset of ET 38 on the front and ET35 at the rear.

ET45 even if you lower it will be fine :)

Just checked my geometry from my wheel alignment (#nerd) and standard geometry should be:

Front:
Between -0°17' and -1°17' (degrees and minutes)
Or
Between -0.28° and -1.28° (degrees)

Rear:
Between -1°00' and -2°.00'(degrees and minutes)
Or
Between -1.00° and -2.00°(degrees)

As already stated the reduced camber on the standard Cupra compared to the R ST is not going to effect whether the ET45 fit or not.

the upshot of it all is the "R" wheels will stick out 5mm further than your standard rims..

Hi

Bought a new Cupra ST with "R" rims new here in Sweden and was able to get them from factory.
Standard brakes and works fine for me.
Hope this was what you were looking for:)

Only thing I have is for the Machined ones no the copper ones:

See Page 56/57 and 66/67 on the printed copy (or 29/34 on the electronic PDF) for pictures. Price and part numbers are on
https://www.seat.com/content/dam/pu...rochure-leon-accessories-final-march-2019.pdf

Part numbers can be found here (again for the machined version):

https://www.seat.com/content/dam/pu...ools-brochure-leon-specs-final-march-2019.pdf

These were all found on the UK Seat site originally, so you maybe able to find updated brochures/specs on your own countries website.

I asked to the garages who are selling the cars in the links I shared above and I had a start of an answer.
In Switzerland you can buy these cars with a so-called "Cupper Pack" and the wheels are part of this pack.
Therefore I sent this information to my local dealer, hoping he can find the reference as I found nothing on internet so far..

Part number for the wheel is on the Cupra Ateca brochure:

So apologies @Proppen it seems there could be an ET45 version of the non copper wheels. However yours will still be ET50 based on the seat 'will it fit won't it fit' system BS.

Thanks Damo !
This confirmed the part number I found on the swiss Seat website :

BUT my local dealer said that was not compatible with my car because of the ET and the brakes which seems to be wrong.
At least he is trying to look for more information because of the "copper pack" on other swiss cars

ET45 will fit, and will even go over larger brakes (the Cupra Ateca has the same larger brake calipers as the R and R ST).

Just double checked, they also have the same centre bore of 57.1mm.

Seat dealers won't say something fits unless their computer has a box ticked. That is all they go off.

That is the point totally agree. But in the other end, I don't want to use this amount of money without being sure that this fit. With your help and what I can find on the web I am being more and more convinced :)

They definitely fit. I was going to buy them from Horton SEAT but they are heavy wheels at almost 14kg a wheel. If I'm paying that much for a set of wheels I want to shed some weight in the process.
