Cupra TDi Air box intake

Right i have searched 3 sites now and can not find the part numbers anywhere, after the cupra TDi pipe and intake numbers. 2 parts i thought.

How is the Cupra one different? Been looking but had no luck, pictures would be good, as may be interested in this.

It's wider so it can suck in more air

So will you be modifying this one to remove the water shield then Ant? I think i remember reading an old post about it increasing responsiveness so will you be testing it for us all

yeah will remove it as makes sense to.

a couple of the guys on Briskoda have made comments on this too. i think all of them have done it.

Are you referring to hacking the obstructive flap out of the front part ?

I did that too.

not quite hacking, just trimming up with the Dremmel, i did last time as it just seemed obvius to trim it out.

although some may argue it allows water in, but i doubt that.
