Just gotten the powerflex dogbone bush on mine... Absolutely fantastic improvement in traction and feel through the front end. My suprpro mount had failed previously and i'd done untold nasty things to a standard One after that!

Ok, sounds good. Where is the dog bone bush located and what does it do?

try pulling away more gentley or feed the throttle in smoothly most of the above can be stopped by driving properly rather than ramming the throttle down and epecting to grip. :)

I do try to meter the throttle, but there's times it's difficult to find restraint!;)

You may find, if your tyres are the KU39's that they will provide better wet weather performance than Exalto's. .

I'm unsure if they are KU 39 s. Grip isn't confidence inspiring in the wet thouugh. So far in the past 16 years of motoring I've yet to experience a tyre that betters the Exalto fantastic wet weather grip. In fact all round grip is very good indeed.

Friend of mine is about to remove some on 4mm due to the fact they let go in wet conditions without any warning, for me I just cant live with there comfort soft sidewalls. .

Dog bone mount +1. I changed mine along with rear wishbone mounts at the same time. I had a standard dogbone mount along with Powerflex polyurethane bushes on the car. I replaced the lot with Superpro poly bushes, and it made a drastic improvement. Well worth spending the money to limit the engine/box subframe movement.

Dog bone mount improved mine alot, although it vibrates more than i'd like now.

Has anyone changed the dogbone mount and not noticed any extra vibration?

when i had a 20vt i had zero vibration with the uprated mount and that really needed the mount as on stage two you could feel the engine flexing or swaying in the bay when using the power but that was stage two.

now i have a pd150 leon i got the uprated mount on and it vibrates in reverse and when labouring. imo its a pointless mod on the diesel unless you are running large amounts of power having the uprated dogbone mount also pushes the stress to the other engine mounts cannot imagine what the vibrations would be like with all engine mounts uprated.

I'm using the diesel specific bush on mine, some vibrations but a lot lot lot lot better than the suprpro or standard items.
