Does anyone have experience with upgraded D1S bulbs? I'm looking for 6000k ideally. I bought some cheap ones from HIDS Direct for £30, but the light output is abysmal.

Looking around there's quite a few options but the prices are quite high!

I'm currently looking at MTEC 6000K D1S bulbs, a pair can be had for £80 delivered.

I have been looking at the Osram Night breakers but they are £130 for a pair but they say extra 70% light!!
Not ordered them yet

It's not just the colour temp though, I want good light output too! I'm too fussy lol

you can't keep the light output the higher the kelvin you go! 4300 gives 3300lm 6000k which looks the best only gives 2900lm and the higher you go the worse they get!
I also have the hids directs 6000k bulb which I use in the summer but loghtout is crap in the rain only other thing you could do is retro fit a 55w d2s kit which is what I am looking at now

Yeah I realise that, but the 6000K HIDs direct bulbs are terrible. Weird because my friend has h7 6000K HIDs and the light output from them is so much clearer and brighter!
