engine:
Both have basic same engine. 1.8 20vturbo.
but:
LC has smaller k03/s turbo, LCR has k04
LC is 180bhp, - Early LCR are 210 and then later 225 but with no noticable changes between 210 and 225 other than a more agressive ECU code.
LC has 1 side mount intercooler the LCR has two, (one each side)
LCR has different inlet manifold and larger MAF housing. (air flow meter)
(LCR will have the inlet pipe to the inlet manifold coming from the near side. - The LC will have it coming from the offside).
LCR may also have 4bar fuel regulator, LC 3 bar. ( i think)
interior
LC white internal roof lining. LCR black.
LCR has red bits on vents.
LCR has slightly different steering wheel with red centering stripe.
LCR has option of recaros, although standard seats are almost as good.
LC has option on leather seats.
exterior.
LCR 17" 5 spoke wheels - 16" multi spoke on early ones...
LCR 18" split 5 spoke design.
LCR has lower strut brace. LC does not. (but only about £20)
LCR has slightly bigger rear bumper. ) - bit less rounded too.
LCR has more aggressive front bumper compared to LC
Early LC before about 2002? did not have the body kit side skirts etc. But did have more options as standard.
twin exhaust on LC - single larger oval on LCR.
suspension:
LCR is about 15mm lower than the LC. I believe the LCR suspension is slightly uprated with more dampening effect. (stronger shocks in comparison to the springs)
brakes
LCR has brembo front brakes. Very good brakes but pads are expensive.
LC i think are 312mm which are pretty good themselves.

can get more toys on a LC eg leather seats, will remap to approx 225bhp
LCR has brembos and more electronic driver aids, uprated and lowered suspension, different wing mirrors, wil remap to approx 275bhp.
Both have their merits, do a search for the title of this thread, been discussed quite a bit.
