Disabling Autostop?

Or you could just unplug the sensor at the battery, I did that for a while until I found out it is disabled when the gearbox is i S. It will also disable start / stop.

I have a 2020 and cant disable start/stop with vcds, I guess the virtual finger is the solution.

I'm just curious, is the handbrake one of the criteria for the start/stop to engage?
If so, could you not pull the wire from the hand brake?

Oh wait a lot of you have electronic hand brakes. So this would stop them from working altogether..
