Euro car parts....3 faulty MAF's in one day all bosh

Thought id treat my ibiza to a new mass air flow meter as old one was on its way out.

went euro car parts and took a new bosch air flow only to find out it was dead before i even drove my car, car was running asif it was cammed lol

cut along storie short i had 3 maf's from them all to have been broke!!

went to gsf and bought a cheap one as they didnt have any bosch in stock and hey presto it worked!!

went back to euro and said that a gsf one works and had to demonstrate infront of the store manager!

ended up they give me a few free items being a shampoo kit

anyone esle had any probs with mafs from euro ?

I'm guessing that their stock of MAF's came in one box, and some muppet has dropped it and destroyed them...

That's really crap kinda put me off euro car parts now.

I would always choose GSF over Euro, mainly because my local GSF staff are far more knowledgeable. The guys at Euro in Coventry were two minutes away from recommending a coilpack that would have never worked and probably wouldn't have even plugged in!! It's only me having one to show them that made them realise how far off the mark they are.

Then again, they did a great job with my suspension, although that was a mail order jobbie.

to be fair i had 3 faulty mafs from two seat dealers...

oh no hang on, thats not quite right, - they supplied me with the WRONG maf each time.
