So I have been looking into changing the ST 170 Diesel LH side exiting pipes for the twin system on the petrol as I think it has a better look without being aftermarket OTT.

There is some info on the Audi sites for a similar mod for the B7 143 2wd TDi where the rear valance and a petrol sourced pipe have been fitted but will the Exeo petrol rear system go straight on to the 170 Diesel? (Obviously requiring the relevant fixings and hangers as well). The valance looks like its a straight swap at least.

Anyone got any pics of the undersides of the Exeo diesel & petrol for comparison or even the ETKA parts listings & images for both versions?

There's no F in Quality..
I'm pretty sure that the floor-plan is identical for both petrol and diesel.

The rear-valance looks easy to swap to. I had a good look when I took my rear-bumper off to fit the tow-bar.

I would have though that the fitting of the exhaust would be relatively easy. You just might need a 'reducer' to compensate for any differences in the diameter of the pipework on the petrol back-box, and your existing pipework.

If you can wait, I will take a few pictures oF the underside of my TSI at the weekend if it helps...

Apparently the Audi Quattro based exhaust systems on the RS/S4/DTM are too fiddly to fit to 2WD vehs. Too much cutting and shutting, swearing, cussing and scraped knuckles from the props and diff.

OP, if you could take a quick snap of the underside around the rear suspension (especially the fork for LHS and RHS back boxes) and PM it some time, I could work out what the differences are. Rear underfloor has the necessary space. Thanks,
