That's exactly the same price I've got. I already had a map on it but it needs to be overwritten. I wonder if it's possible to get the car to beep when you lock/unlock it.

It's worth the wait!

That's splitter looks great bud.

You can get the alarm to beep on lock/unlock. It needs to be turned on using vagcom I think as there's a vid kicking about on here showing it beeping. Really want it on mine as well lol.

The Beeping is annoying and tacky on yours though G ;). I will turn it off next time I get my mitts on it ;)

My dpf is done. He turned the beeping on for me too. Picking it up tomorrow.

My wind deflectors have arrived as well as my led sidelights but only got 1 number plate light through

Hopefully the splitter arrives soon

^^Actually a fair point^^

Or even select the noise.

All the beeping does is attract attention which is probably the reason most people have it - the beeping kinda works reverse with regard to being an anti theft device in my opinion when you consider that the noise will tell the educated thief that there is no aftermarket security system fitted to the car ;).

Stealth is always the better way to go ;)

The beeping wasn't loud on the mk1 at all. It was a cute little chirp. Now I'm worried... Picking the car up in 15 mins...

It can be useful though if you can't find your car in a lot.

Stand where you think it might be, hold the remote to your head (because we all know this odd trick boosts the range!!) and click unlock, then lock to hear the beep.

Or I could look out for the bright yellow car! One of the perks. The chirp I have isn't that loud tbh.

Car has its dpf removed and stage 1 map, it's a bloomin rocket! Much quicker than my stage 1 golf gt tdis.

Here she is throwing down 205bhp and 318lbs of torque:

Clutch is starting to slip so that's been bumped up quite high on the list. Still managed to destroy a type r on a private road,

Small progress, fitted my heko wind deflectors,

Number plate lights are on - here's the difference:

I can't seem to get my sidelights out!!!!! [:@] got my LED lights waiting...

Went on a run to Bamburgh Castle, escorting the rust2rome mob to their first checkpoint. Got some snaps:

how is the remap?

black cupra grille would be a lot nicer than the standard chrome one, makes a hell of a difference :)

Good shout Zen! I'll add that to the to-do list :)

Remap is simply amazing! The torque shove is so much better and it was fantastic on the country roads. I'm very pleased
