First Seat

Hey people,

I've recently parted with my beloved Rover 25 turbo which I've had for 8 years and now I'm on the look out for a Toledo or other seat, not decided yet.

saw this one near me:

Pistonheads item 791550 (classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/seat/toledo/seat-toledo-v5-great-condition/791550)

its in my price range, which is quite thread thin due to a holiday commitment.

I've contacted someone else about another toledo (which is more expensive and 110,00miles) and he says there are engine management lights up which they done know how to get rid of. its the tcs, engine man and some other light that the guys says are on, what would cause this? the MAF?

the one up top seems to be the only one that fits what I need and the seller says everything is perfect on the car and its rrecently had a load of work done.

My questions are.

would 1200 be a good price for one of these?
do I accept the fact the guy services it himself?
engine management lights, its the tcs, engine man and some other light thats on that the guys says, what would cause this? the MAF?

Oh right, do you mind if I asked which lights and what happened?

Engine management light, the 20Vs are sophisticated engines, they're not expensive to buy in good condition, buy a fixer upper at you peril!

Timing chains are at the flywheel end of the engine, gearbox, clutch and flywheel removal first, around 8 hours labour plus parts.
