First Year Service Message & VCDS

Leaving aside the fact that this is not in sync with the collection date nor any date that I can make out, has anyone with VCDS managed to remove the nag screen that comes up for about 14 days before the service is due and then badgers the driver with a message that the service is due EVERY time the Media screen is used, which is every time. The screen then needs manual input to the desired screen EVERY time.

You don't need VCDS, check Page 66 of your manual, tells you how to reset it .
