Folding Mirrors

Am I right in thinking that the folding mirrors are speed limited? It seems to be that at walking spedd and below mine work perfectly, but at some predetermined speed the folding controller stops working.
I had a look in the manual and there seems to be no mention of this.

Is this a "design feature" or do I have a problem?:confused:

Presumably like the mk5 Ibiza, it's a design feature. We had a thread about it here

But someone with an Exeo, will probably confirm that soon enough..

Going back to my MK2 Leon FR days, I found this 6MPH feature a pain a couple of times. Out driving in deapest darkest Somerset on some narrow country lanes, you needed to squeese over to allow others to pass but you don't always need to slow right down to 6MPH to do this. It would have been nice to be able to fold the mirrors in (just to be on the safe side) to stop them getting clipped as I squeesed over for the 50th time at about 15MPH.
