Well it seems my order IS affected too.
SEAT UK have posted a message on their intranet which only the dealers can see.
My car was ordered prior to this being published.
The sales manager as therefore emailed the SEAT regional manager pointing this out.
He asked if SEAT would either fund the Kenwood swap or switch the 2.1 with a 2.2
If SEAT refuse then he has agreed to refund my deposit in full.
He gave me a copy of the SEAT intranet message.
I quote it.

CHANGE TO MEDIA SYSTEM FOR SOME LEONS BUILT BETWEEN WEEKS 22 AND 24
15 Jul 11
MY12 Leon SE Copas, FR+ models, and Cupra Rs built between weeks 22 and 24 have been fitted with the SEAT Media System 2.1 instead of the planned Media System 2.2
The Media System 2.1 has most of the same functionality as the Media System 2.2 but does not feature voice control for the Bluetooth system.
Make sure you check your orders and stock for cars that are affected by this change. It is your responsibility - and duty of care - to inform your customers that the specification of their cars is not the same as the specification stated in the MY12 brochure. You must get confirmation from your customer that he/she agrees to this change before the car is registered and handed over.
Quote ends.
It seems to me that SEAT and/or the dealer have failed in their duty of care.
