Where is your dealer? My dealer could not do anything with my system.At last we are getting somewhere. Just had a call from my Seat dealer. They are going to change the 2.1 head unit for a 2.2 one. This is doing what Seat advised could only be done at the factory!
Thanks for the info. Spoke to customer care again and they confirmed that it can not be changed. My dealer is now ignoring my calls, emails etc. Will have to write an official letter to the dealer as advised by Trading Standards. Getting rather tired of chasing them.Ipswich - They were contacted by Seat on Friday. If the problem isn't fixed - they get the car back!
Had another call from Seat now offering £200 in accessories. Is your dealer Cox of Ipswich? When is your car booked in?Write to your dealerand head the letter "Sale of Goods Act 1979". You need to state that the car is not as described in the sales brochure and that they (the dealer) are in breach of contract and allow them 14 days to sort it out. Send it by recorded delivery and see what happens.
