FR Shocks and Springs

Hey everyone,

Been a member for a while when I was looking at an FRTDI...but I'm after some info for my mk4 Golf TDI that I ended up buying.

A friend is breaking his MK1 TT Quattro, so I'm taking the subframe, rack, lower arms etc, but the shocks are shot so I need to replace.

As the mk4 isn't 4wd I thought the FR shocks and springs will be good, the fronts have the ARB tab on the shocks right? And the rears are generic mk4 platform?

If that's right, does anyone have part numbers or recommendations?

Cheers but I want stock or at most bilstein equivalent (they tend to be a bit stiffer). Not interested in going lower at the minute. All about the handling!
