Can anyone tell me if they around 21 and you've got an Ibiza FR tdi how much you're insurance is?
My step son has got a 1.2 S at the moment but he was hoping to change it just after his 21st birthday in a few weeks time, hoping his insurance would come down. Unfortunately he didn't have a very good start to his early driving years writing off 2 cars and now he's on his 7th car (with a bit of help from my along the way) and only driving the 1.2 Seat to try and build up some NCB. Really unfortunate for him though, he went into the back of someone recently which was a relatively slow speed knock as he thought the person in front was about to join the roundabout but didn't, so now he's lost the NCB that he built up using a 10 month accelerater.
Does anyone think it maybe possible to reasonably insure an FR at 21 with no NCB. I've looked in Glass's and it only puts the FR at group 8 insurance but with his recent claim and 2 others around 3 years ago I'm not sure if its going to cripple him on insurance, being a student.
Probably cripple me buying the FR for him anyway
