Best place to put that is in an envelope, with a note saying 'please send back my money, I had a momentary lapse in common sense' and send it to them.

Did you get some magic beans with that? Sent it back, it's bollox. Fuel does not contain metal particles so there is no way that a magnet can do anything to change the composition or properties of the liquid in a way that will affect how it burns inside your car's engine!

Nice choice of football team btw. Toon Army!

find the fuel rail (can't miss it, it's big square & silver, goes across the front of the engine bay)

Stick your magnet on the rubber pipe that connects to it

then type the letter asking for the refund :)

The only car that needs a magnet on the fuel line is a Mk1 Golf that hasn't had a new stainless fuel filler neck fitted :cartman:

They used to rot right through, sending cornflaked sized bits of crap through the system! Nice.

A guy came to the door at work a few years ago offering to install magnets on all of the gas lines feeding our ovens in order to make drastic reductions in our gas consumption.

He skipped past the "science bit" and went straight to the practical demonstration, showing us how a disposable lighter flame got hotter when he put a magnet round the lighter (and then held it a bit closer to your hand than before).

Strangely, he didn't get an order
