It may not be possible, it depends what is already fitted and when it was built.

Full Link is only available for cars built after week 22, 2015, this is the prerequisite for Seat installed and activated by a Seat Service Centre. £200 includes a new USB socket, loom, & a software update.

www[dot]seat.co.uk/content/dam/countries/uk/Downloads/SEATInfotainment071015.pdf[ (on page 3)

There are various threads on this subject, it is possible on older vehicles but appears to be a major headache.

I have full link on my car and it really isn't worth the asking price! If you've got Bluetooth streaming or USB plug in to listen to music... after the honeymoon period of 'yeah CarPlay woo.!' I find that the seat system is just as good... also full link doesn't have a shortcut button. Which is annoying.

Also if you have apple you don't get google maps only apple maps, so I stick with seats own nav

same here.got it on my 17 plate fr and to be honest, dont really use it.
I play music through my phone and sat nav that's built in and works great.if I had to pay for it I wouldn't have purchased it.some people love it but just my personal preference.

It's the one great disappointment about my 15 plate Leon. I have an iPhone with lightning connector and the hardwired connection via the MDI socket is unreliable at best and the UI is clunky. If I had been a bit more clued up, I would have gone the extra mile and got one with a USB socket and full link. Ah, well only 3 years to go. Can't get away from Apple music, as I have a family membership.

I really like Full link, Carplay was pretty good (especially with the apple music subscription we have) but Android auto is incredible. Even if only for the satnav.

Agree totally. Never use it as I don't subscribe to any music streaming sites anyway and have never been let down by the seat nav yet either. Glad it's standard on the new fr and I didn't waste my money specifying it from factory

In the ateca I used it a lot but for Google Maps, as much as I use Google Play Music everyday I found that app on Android Auto very clunky.

Once they bring Waze to Android Auto will be a game changer though.

Yep you need the different processor and screen, all components are protected by component protection that needs to be disabled then the processor needs to be sent off to spain for hacking as well.
will cost around £1200 once done.

Google play music was terrible but at least it motivated me to put 64GB of music on an SD card.

Yeh I use it on my phone but found the interface very clunky, also you couldn't navigate to other albums so still had to use the phone.
