g201 01435 ABS Tcs/Esp light on

Hi,

got the "01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201): Implausible Signal". Cleared the code but its back. TCS light is constantly on.


I know the local garage are gonna tell me I need a full new abs unit so aint even going to ask them


Any help would be appreciated.

No as its not the same scenario as with the mk2s.

The pressure sensor on the mk1 is a seperate sensor that can be replaced without the need for a new abs module.

cheers, is fitting the sensor a straight forward job?

Normally just unscrews out of the side of the master cylinder or the side of the abs pump.

Sorry to bump an old thread..

The g201 sensor is only £75 but dont really want to splash out without knowing for sure if its that. Already been down that road with a new MAF..

Ive got vagcom but am just learning how to use it really. Is there anyway I can highlight that it is specifically the g201 sensor or more of a wiring issue..or even summet else completely..
