For a 10k service. Looked at W Livingston and also The Audi VW specialist at bothwell. Does anyone have any views on either?

I'd recommend W Livingston as well. Got my timing belt / water pump / injectors done and have no complaints. Going back in next week for a service.

I would avoid Arnold Clark on Alexandra Parade at all costs :censored:

I have personally had some issues with W Livingston. Feels like if you didn't buy the car from them, then they aren't really that interested if any warranty work is needing done.

VW Livingston recently replaced a track rod end for me and whilst there said my off side buld was out so replaced it but didnt charge me for it

After i picked the car up, the steering wheel wasnt straight and 2 days later the bulb blew lol

I called them up at about 1pm and they said just to bring it down the now and they'll re-do the tracking, they also replaced the bulb again for me

Can totally agree with Fannon with regards warranty work with W Livingston.

Didn't fix the issues with my old Leon FR which had warranty, mainly a £12 radio aerial base stem and a blown speaker. They turned my radio on, turned all the base and treble etc down to minimal and said everything including the radio reception was spot on when it wasn't.

Come service time and I had got rid of the car (thats another story), constant emails and phone calls about your car is due a service etc. Only time these main dealers are interested when they want the business to service the car, warranty means nothing to them.

W Livingston were meant to have won the golden garage competition last year and made a big fanfare of it, but based on my experience, they certainly weren't anything special.

I use VW Audi repair centre in Clydebank (technically Duntocher) used to be called Gracie's but still the same people etc, I can honestly vouch for these guys having used them for a full service, brake fluid change, alternator change and MOT recently and other stuff in the past.

Everything was done OEM and parts were given to me at trade price (double checked against Tps prices)

Definitely give them a call
