Hi

I need to try and fit something in the glove box which is 10.5" by 7.5" (about 26.5cm x 19cm)
Has anyone removed the CD changer and holding case and know what sits behind it?

I know you can get the bits of platic that replace the changer to try and reclaim the space but i dont think that will be big enough to hold what i want

anyone know how far it goes back etc or anyone have any pics or measurements?

thanks
Mark

What is it you're trying to fit in there?

I don't have the measurements to hand, but have removed the changer and fitted the insert so might be able to tell you if it's possible or not. If not, and you don't get the info you need, let me know and I'll remove the insert later this evening and take some photos for you with measurements.

Its a mini laptop, a sony viao, the dimensions i gave it the size of it.

actually its half a laptop, the screen in a 7" touch screen tft and will be molded into the the dash in the double din facia.

That would be great if you can measure up the plastic insert as that would give me something to go on.

cheers

No worries, will do so later for you. Do you have the dimensions of the laptop handy? That way I can work out what, if anything, you can do to get it to fit.

Given me a good excuse to plug the Seat changer into my Becker to see if it works as it should ;)

No-where near enough depth :(

The standard changer is 6.5" deep and sits on the airconditioning unit in pretty much the same position whether the brackets are attached or not

Same glovebox/dash regardless

There's no-where to put stuff like this in the Leon/Toledo ... I've got a DVD SatNav I'm still trying to find a home for
