You guys say about development of the Laguna but as far as I can see Renault have never developed an IC specifically for the ibiza or are Renault TDI lumps identical to the VAG 1.8T?

Come back to me when you guys have a Forge FMIC to test along side the Laguna one on the same car, the same day, with the same ambient temp and rolling road/operator with appropriate logging within Vag-com then I/we will believe how amazing it is

Tesco tuning zip ties, and check out the clearance on that aircon rad. Superb! After all I wanna nuke my engine and spend even more cash on a rebuild, just to save 400 quid.

I see the extra cash as peace of mind, the research has been done, so I can fit and forget. Bit like breakdown cover, covers my ass.

Im off to buy some wingwongmong tyres, saves me 20 quid..... wickkkked

anyway laguna cooler's here today so gonna crack on with it.
but before i do i'd better order a set of pistons/shells etc for the rebuild when it blow's up due to the fact ive fit a bigger better intercooler

quite a few of grs owners came 2 us, we done 3 in total from grs to ours and ours was only limited production

number one is a possibility but im hoping not.

why oh why do peeps find the lag cooler's shite ive not actually heard any facts on why it doesnt work?

just hear people bitching about its fit or its tesco tuning but if the fooker works then why the hell not i need facts not peoples opinions.....

maybe renault should go to forge for there coolers

but we havent seen any facts that it works either...a handfull of people have had them but none have been tested against anything, i havent even seen before and after logs just the after logs, which are fairly useless

and again u cant justify a comparison between different coolers on 2 different cars on 2 different days in 2 different locations...so many factors that could cause the difference

for the 300/400quid extra for the forge one...it fits properly and if something goes wrong then forge are there to help

the only person that i know of currently running the laguna fmic is flash, but hes had such a hard time of late with his car that we havent heard any good news for a while

Just think, if something happens to the laguna one would Renault repair it FOC?

Jonzy's mount snapped and forge repaired it foc within 2 days, Renault would laugh you out of the dealers if you tried to take it back.

Somehow i dont think so mate, the forge is alot thicker and looks to be alot deeper than the laguna one, good luck with it tho i reckon 3months before you give up and buy a forge or A+M
