Randomly. still looking for some tyres. was about to give up when i get a call back i can get 4 x GT Radial Champiro UHP1's fitted for £72 each. fairly cheap i thought. must be a dog. he tells me he has them on his BMW and that he was surprised at how good they are for the price.

have any of you had these? looks like they are new for 2012 from Australia from luxary sedans etc.

had these fitted this morning. its pissing it down with rain so new tires are NEVER a good idea due to the silicon coating. have to admit they look the part. really nice RIM protection on them. will wait for a break in the weather and take it for a drive.

Smee, apologies for digging up an oldish thread, but how have you found the GT Radials?
I will be requiring 2 new tyres early in the new year (depending on how hard my credit card is screaming after Christmas) and the Pirelli P Zero's i have fitted i am not that impressed with in the wet.

sorry mate didnt get a reminder for this.

i have to admit i personally havent had a chance to do many miles on them with my ACL surgery although i am now currently driving again. the misses has put about 1000 miles on them.

from what i have driven they seem pretty good tire fairly good grip in the Wet but then again i drive like a girl in the wet and average about 20mph in the city where i do 99% of my driving so maybe not the best to comment.

frankly at the price and the built in rim protector they seem like a great buy to me and i would get them again.

took these out the other day and gave it a bit of a bash in teh cold condition probably 3 degree out. slipping in 2nd from a stage 1 cupra. but in 3rd it was holding better that the Perilli PZERO NERO HERO ROSSO's

not a bad tyre for £70 a corner
