I'm planning on upgrading my rear brake set-up with 256mm discs, callipers, carriers & pads and was wondering if the Gunson's eezibleed is really that simple and easy to use??
Anyone had any experience with this and would it be suitable for this ??
Cheers in advance

If it's the same one I have used the only bit of advice I would give you is remember that if you don't let some pressure out of your tyre the brake fluid will be under 30psi of pressure so comes out much faster than if you had a mate pumping the pedal.

It also doesn't stop like when you shout at a mate.

Have to admit I tried to use one with my old Focus and it was a nightmare. Could never get a good seal against the brake fluid reservoir and it used to piss hydraulic fluid all over the engine bay, even when I dropped the activation pressure down to less than 10psi.

I've since used a much simpler kit comprising a length of flexi pipe with a non-return valve in it. Put the pipe over the bleed nipple, I used a zip-tie around the pipe just after the nipple to ensure a tight fit, then crack the nipple open a little and pump the pedal.

Got the kit on eBay for a few quid and it works a treat - much less hassle than the 'Easy' bleed and much cheaper.

Just remember not to over-extend the brake pedal when pumping it as this can damage the master cylinder seals.
