Just gonna fit to the rear so guess 5mm either side ok
To improve handling a bit and fill the arches more

Yeah you can go for the 5mm and yeah it is best to get the H&R's if you don't already have the extended bolts.

No 8mm would be fine, most people tend to go for at least 10mm normally.

Is it right that as standard the front of the car is slightly wider stance than rear?

8mm-10mm on the front and if going for the 8mm stick to the ones with the collar.

It's better for locating the wheel and eliminates any chance of wheel wobble.
