duston northants
different fitting and connector
h7 has 2 terminals and is located by a tag (dip beam)
h1 has 1 terminal and is located by a cut off in base of bulb (main beam)

Change them from standard anyway mate. Or if you're just after a replacement tell me. I've got spares here. Keep changing them all the time to different ones!
Until I fit the hid's next week....

My main headlights are looking yellow so ive already ordered new bulbs which are a h1 fitment! (didnt do research sorry) so will they be a straight swap for the standard headlight bulb?

So the h1 which ive ordered is the full beam like the one you use to flash people out junctions. :p and the h7 is the ones for regular driving at night

H1 is main beam (lots of light, dazzles everyone, little blue light on dash)
H7 is dipped beam (less light, no blue light on dash)

It all gets a bit confusing when people say "lights you use all the time at night", I live in the country and "normal" lights to me are main beam, if you live in a town then "normal" lights would probably be dipped beam.
