shame. im gonna take a good hard look next time the 4-motion golf is on the ramp and compare it to mine. it would be a great project though, to have an ABF or VR6 with 4wd in an ibiza. using the 8v would be pointless.
ive got an idea, raise the car, lower the chassis and engine and fit big wheels like the wrc ibiza. that way the propshaft would fit between the subframe and body and clear the linkage and fit onto the rear axle.
Look on clubgti, a couple of people have 4wd'd there mk2 golfs. This is a similar project. This won't be a bolt in project and will require lots of accurate welding and measuring.
