Handbrake Cable

Hi everyone, I am a newbie here so forgive me if i'm not up on forum chat!

I need to replace my handbrake cable on 08/58 Seat Ibiza SC Sport 1.4 but am having trouble finding them (don't want to pay dealer prices!). Does anyone know whether the cables for the MK4 Ibiza would fit? I have rear drum brakes.

Have you tried Eurocarparts ? - they seem to list quite a few MK5 ibiza parts

Yeah I gave them a call as I got my brake shoes from there but they didn't have any for the MK5 and said it could possibly be a dealer part. I would have thought that a handbrake cable wouldn't be a dealer speciic part though surely?

I doubt it would be dealer only.

Sounds daft but try their web site - put car reg in and see what it shows.


Altenatively - David at SERE motors will do you the best dealer price on OEM cables.
