Hands free kit crackling

Hi guys

Just wondering if anybody is having a problem with their iPhone/ phone when it is connected with the I pod connection/ phone connecting wire in the glove compartment. When I use it to make a phone call or some one rings me the audio is very crackly. It's so bad I struggle to understand what people are saying.

I use bluetooth for the phone but play My music + charge it using the wire.

When I call or receive calls when the wires not connected its fine???

Ok I've tried it with the glove box door open and has far into the car as I can.

Its kind of a more general comment, does placing it somewhere else help things?

Do you have an alternative handset you could try?

Yes mate I've tried my wife's iPhone it's the same. I've even had my phone in the glove comp but not connected to to wire just using Bluetooth and its fine. It's defo only when it's connected to the wire.
