head light bulb on leon cupra 20vt

can anyone shed some light on this problem,
does the battery have to come out to change a bulb as the drivers bulb went on me last night so just in time got to Halfords and bought me some xeon bulbs,little to my knowledge that the bulbs in the car are crystle blue(the bright ones) so i fit the bulb on the drivers but couldnt get to the passenger cause of the battery now the car looks stupid one bright one and one dull one.
these bulbs are temp till i get some new crystles so i need to know how to do it please.

Look in the manual. It has instructions about changing the passenger side bulb.
You have to undo 2 screws and reove the plastic cover on the back of the headlight assembly.
Takes 2 minutes.

As above, the shroud is around the headlight to feed air to the airbox. Two screws and pull the shroud straight up and it will reveal the same unit as the other side. No battery out job. Halfrauds should have helped you with that!
