My FR+ has xenon’s with self levelling function. Had the car a few years and always thought the headlight aim was too low.
So after coming back from the garage for a new spring, the headlights started to self level on each start up (never done this before) but adjusts itself to almost full beam setting, for regular dipped beam use. I’ve been searching online, as I think they level sensor is knackered but there is almost nothing available on here, YouTube, fb or google. So trying to
Find the right replacement part is proving tricky.
the dealer says the part is circa £150 but I need the part number really which they haven’t revealed.
Also could do with a guide to how to change it.
Any help appreciated!

There should be two level sensors, one on the front and one on the rear suspension both on the left side.

If you don't have any diagnostic tools it's best to let a dealer or VAG specialist diagnose and fix it.

The sensor readings need to be checked via diagnostics and there might be nothing wrong with them at all. It might just be that the calibration needs to be done to set the normal running height, which again requires diagnostic equipment along with manual adjustment of the light units.
