I always used VPower Diesel in mine. Even in Shells own words, I don't think it's necessary every fillup (unless remapped). But Shell say it's worth using every 1 in 4 fillups because it has more detergent to clean your engine. But once it's cleaned what it can reach, on a stock engine it offers no advantage. Also, and your garage should know this. Changing the fuel filter on a diesel every year. I mention that cause on a petrol engine it's usually lifetime. If it has a DPF... make sure it gets a long run each week to allow for regeneration.

regular oil changes. Don't buy into the using oils with lower SAE numbers, this can actually offer less protection. But do make sure you get the correct type regards Ash/SAPS/
As mentioned, DPFs mean more starts and shorter journeys will mean more regenerations - which in turn can increase oil degradation.
Having a turbo don't rag it and immediately park up. not really necessary (or advised on my opinion) to park up and leave ticking over for a few mins (unless you have been ragging it) - much better to drive it easy for the last 5 mins of the drive.
otherwise usual advice applies.

I used castrol edge while everything was stock. I only saw the need to switch oils when I started upgrading.

Yeah, it's a good oil. It's all I ever used in my FR+.
