Heated seat controls?

Basically just looking to swap my interior for one from an S3 or a Golf with heated leather seats in it, and just wondered what switches people use to control the heated seats? I've got a mate who had a spare button from a Golf and he compared it to the size of the cupholder in my Cupra and the buttons from the Golf are too small?

Do I need A3/S3 heated seat controls?

Also will the back bench from a Golf/S3 fit straight into my car?

I'm sure someone will be along soon but there is a fascia and two switches everyone uses in place of the cup holder think they are golf ones

Am I being blind I couldn't see anywhere on that thread that actually said where the switches were from? That's the exact thing that I'm looking to do to
Mine though. Are they custom made or from a golf?

That pics mine mate. They are from seat. There LHD heated seat switches as they weren't available on UK RHD cars. Order them from sere. You will need the LHD airbag light and rear heater switch as they now move to where the cup holder was, and the switches fit to the right side. Golf switches won't fit the leon dash unless you mod them to fit. You will also need a loom to connect the switches, seats and the 12v source all together

If I remember right all these switches aren't cheap, all the switches and loom might be around £150ish

I was lucky, I got all mine for £70 from Phill when he was breaking his yellow cupra

Before deciding to sell my leather interior I was going to use passat heated seat switches (very cheap on ebay I only paid £3 delivered) and make my own loom there is a great diagram on here;) but I was going to mount mine under the ashtray I like my cup holder to much to loose it

Hate the cup holders they are the main killer of the climate control. Go over a bump drink runs down the dash and kills the display.

wasn't bother about loosing mine either cause my double din touch screen sits right underneath it, not ideal is it. I wish they had cup holders built into the door bins on each front door really
