Heater Blower speed dial not working.

Good afternoon all,

I’m hoping that I may be able to get a better idea of an issue I’m having with my 2013 Leon.
Last Friday the speed function on my interior fan just stopped working. I firstly swapped out the 40 amp fuse but still no luck.
The vehicle has since been to a garage who have replaced both the blower motor and the resistor but still no luck.
The blower motor seems to be working fine as it has 12volts and is clearly blowing a trickle of air out but does not increase.
Strangely today once I have turned the ignition off the fan is still running so I have had to remove the use to stop this.
I was hoping it would be a much easier fix and not cost a lot.

Does anybody have any ideas please?

Thank you in advance.

Hi, I've got a similar issue, if I go to auto and back to manual my fan lights do not display! Have you had your battery checked because I know this can cause issues with some electrics!

Also if you fix this please let us know!

I ended up booking mine in with a local Seat garage, they seemed a bit stumped to start with. This was partly down to the fact that the blower motor and resistor and both already been replaced but still no speed out of the fans.
My issue turned out to be the air con pressure switch. Everything is now fixed and working as it should.
