I have returned to SEATcupra after 3 years of difficult times.
I owed a mk1 Leon FR (1.8T 180) twelve years ago and sold it reluctantly after 4 years, I loved that car and purchase a mk1 Leon Cupra R (225 BAM) in the summer of 2017. That year I done some extensive damage to it and lost my license for 2 years.
I’ve since spent a lot of time and money trying to bring her back to her former glory (over £2000 on bodywork and £3000 on mechanical) I only bought it for £1900.
My wife thinks I’m wasting money but I’m not sure I agree with her.
After seeing some of the great examples of mk1’s on SEATcupra it really does give me the incentive to carry on, she’s still a way off being where she should and more to the point even further from where I expected to be after 3 years.
Hopefully one day I’ll have a car I’d be happy to post pictures of here. ?
