Help coding a key in Lancashire?

Hi all. I got a 05 leon last week and only got the 'emergency spare key'. SEAT want £145 for a new key fob and code. I've been recommended to check on here to see if any one could help me cut out the dealer route if i buy a fob from ebay. I live in the Wigan/ Preston area.

Is the MK1 OBD2 Canbus (ie, same as MK2)?

If so I can maybe meet you in Preston sometime (depending on the time - I work in Preston but live about 25 miles away) however you would need to know how to do the coding. I haven't ever done it. If you can find out then more than welcome to try.
