hence why i REALLY think they were not worth having UNLESS u HID them!

Well i uprated the standard bulbs and am so sick of the passenger side sidelight bulb blowing every month (the nightmare side to replace) that im getting tired of them and fancied a change

taken it into consideration though james, thanks for the information!

what......follow the wires goin into the back of the headlamp and it goes to a plug....yes, but think about it....oh it dont make sence to me but it does in a way im crap at these sort of things, i'l just look tomorro and prob find out your right but if your not i'll re-post ok cheers. Does it just mean that those standard wires are kept, and that plug just plugs into these new ones? its probally confusing me because the plug is on wires and not built in or some **** like that. excuse the french sorry

those wires go to a plug which plugs into the back of the headlamps.

Just had my angel eyes delivered and on the bottom of them are more wires coming out, all black and red so i guessing power but what are they for? It has the normal plugs on the the main loom coming out of them but these other ones are bare at the end. Do I need to wire the actual "angels eyes" up seperately?

Wire the red to live and black to earth of the side light bulb circuit.
You'll find you have the rings and another strip lit up possibly, if you don't want the strip lit up, just disconnect them :)

Ok, following so far, i think there are some leds which i probably won't connect. How do i know which wires the side light circuit is and do i need something to connect them?

Sorry for all the questions but i thought they would be plug and play and i'm getting worried i won't be able to do it.

Cheers

The sidelight wire will need fixing to the red and black wires somehow.
If you have a meter, or can follow them by eye, that is better than guess work.
You need to find how they enter the standard unit, never had to do them on a Leon.

If it was total plug and play the sidelights would b connected up already ;)

Just a bit of wiring is needed.

Is there a good way of testing what set of wire does what before i spend ages wiring them in only to find that i don't need some of them, eg. could i use say a 9v battery just to see what light up!

You are only not going to wire in the extra leds, a 9v battery might be enough to show you which wire you wont be connecting, failing that easy to remove the cars battery cover.

Is it safe to connect them directly to the car battery, wasn't sure and didn't want to blow it up.

Thanks for all your help and quick responses Lee, i promise i'll only ask another 50-60 questions!
